MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MACKINAW, HELD AT THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING AT 7:00 P.M.
Village President Craig Friend called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. It was the special meeting scheduled for the Village of Mackinaw.
I. ROLL CALL @ 7:00 P.M. Present: 6 – Trustees Jerry Peterson, Lynn Rudin, Carolyn Elmore, Jesse Watkins, Mike DeChaney and Tom Goings (present by remote attendance).
Also Present: Village President Craig Friend, Village Treasurer Scott Eidenmiller, Deputy Police Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator Bob Davies, and Village Collector Lisa Spencer.
II. ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS: Village Treasurer Scott Eidenmiller led the Board in a round table discussion regarding the Village’s budget and appropriations for fiscal year 2009/2010. Line items of the general ledger were reviewed to estimate if decreased or increased should be made.
Village Collector Lisa Spencer will start preparing the 2009/2010 budget and appropriation ordinance which will be reviewed by the Board before being passed.
VIII. ADJOURNMENT @ 8:00 P.M.: There being no further business to come before the Board Trustee Watkins moved, seconded by Trustee Rudin to adjourn, the motion carried.
