Burning policy

A Reminder - Open burning is not permitted within the Village, our local ordinance does provide an exception for dry leaves and brush that may be burned between the hours of  9 am and 5 pm only.  Burning by individuals of all other yard waste and other materials is strictly prohibited.  Citations will be issued and fines enforced against violators. 

*No burning in burn barrels. 

*No burning of wet yard waste

*No burning of lumber or building supplies
