RECYCLING PROGRAM

Village’s residents can take advantage of the Recycling bins located behind

the Laundromat on Orchard Street in Mackinaw. Items accepted - Aluminum, Plastic and Newspaper

Please do not drop off items that are not accepted by Pekin Recycle.

  **Please do not drop off used oil, garbage, tires or glass at the recycling bin site**

The Village  monitors this site and persons found dumping unauthorized items will be prosecuted in accordance with Village ordinances. Sometimes the bins become overloaded, this happens very quickly.  Please let the Village office know when this happens so we can have them dumped.  Thank you!
