Mackinaw and Deer Creek students attend the Deer Creek-Mackinaw Schools in Mackinaw and Deer Creek. www.deemack.org
K-3rd grade and 7th and 8th grades attend the Dee-Mack Primary/Junior High School located at 102 E. Fifth Street in Mackinaw.
Grades 4th- 6th attend the Dee-Mack Middle School located at 506 N. Logan in Deer Creek.
All high school students 9th-12th attend Dee-Mack High School located at 401 E. Fifth Street in Mackinaw.
The District employs four administrators, three building principals and a superintendent of schools. Questions about the instructional program can be addressed to Christina Lammers, Primary/Junior High Principal; Mr. Reliford Middle School Principal; or Bill Lamb, High School Principal. Questions concerning support programs or school finance can be directed to the Superintendent, Steve Yarnall.
The School District is governed by a seven member Board of Education. Members are elected in November of odd number years and serve for four years. Board of Education meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at the Superintendent's office at the high school located at 401 E. Fifth Street in Mackinaw. All meetings are open to the public. Citizen attendance and comments are welcome. The public is invited to visit the school at any time. Please register at the office upon arrival.
