ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

Tuesday – April 13, 2010

MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS HELD AT THE MACKINAW MUNICIPAL BUILDING AT 7:30 P.M.

Chairman, Jerry Sweckard called the meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to order at 7:30 p.m. This was a regularly scheduled meeting.

I. ROLL CALL: Present: Chairman – Jerry Sweckard and Board Members – Ted Laidig, Chuck Lowery, Steve Powell Sr., Todd Smith, and Wes Nunley

Absent: Jesse Watkins

Also Present: Recording Secretary Lisa Spencer and Zoning Officer Dallas Davis

II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting – March 9, 2010

Nunley moved, seconded by Laidig to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of March 9, 2010 as submitted. Motion carried.

III. ZONING OFFICER’S REPORT: Dallas Davis presented the Board with a building permit report of the year to date for 2010.

Lowery moved, seconded by Smith to accept the Zoning Officer’s report as submitted. Motion carried.

III. SCHEDULE HEARING DATE: The Board reviewed an application for a variance submitted by Charles Templeton Jr. of 7 Tiffany Ct. to exceed the size limitations of an accessory structure as stated in the Village code.

Smith moved, seconded by Lowery to schedule a public hearing date for the May 11, 2010 regularly scheduled Zoning Board meeting at 7:35 p.m. Motion carried.

IV. ADJOURNMENT @ 7:45 P.M.

There being no further business to come before the Board, Nunley moved, seconded by Smith to adjourn. Motion carried.
